Logan International Airport aka: BOS

Spent the night at Logan over Christmas due to snow cancellations. It was awful. The escalators only go up, so you have to drag all of your luggage back down. It was a nightmare!

I really can’t stand driving here. To be fair the Big Dig makes it hell before even getting there.

We flew in from Toronto at Terminal C and we are just about to fly out to Reykjavik. E Terminal is really beautiful, of course with requisite Homeland Security checkpoint gauntlet. Comfy chairs and pricey wireless are hard to beat, though!

...that this is how you fly into the place, so. Good transit connections to the whole area from there, though, so that’s important—none of this ‘one distant shuttlebus at a time’ annoyance. Otherwise I don’t have much to say about the place! Great views when leaving or taking off, though, I’ll definitely say that.

Nice and accessible, really good food for a smallish airport.

taking the southeast expressway, the tunnel takes you right to your terminal…its great

Try flying into Providence, RI or Manchester, NH. Much smaller airports and easier to get in and out of. Although, I have to say Logan is getting better.

The brand-new Delta terminal is great. You won’t believe you’re at Logan ;-)

I fly out of Logan International Airport. It’s really easy to get there from Cambridge now, just take the Red Line to the Silver Line. The airport is pretty crowded, though. But what do you expect when you cram a little airport into a big city…
