Discovery Cove

Discovery Cove is in incredible! My sister and I spent a day there and swam with dolphins, snorkeled with sting rays, fed exotic birds while they sat on our shoulder, and lounged in the sun. The whole day was like a dream, I loved it!

I have always wanted to go someplace that would give me the opportunity to swim with a dolphin.
This place did it! Discovery Cove only allows app. 1,000 people in a day….and it is an all day event.
Food, snacks, drinks, beer….it is all free in the park. The food is GOOD!!!!
The sting-ray lagoon was so much fun and interesting…..just cold.
The best part of the trip had to be the experience my husband and I had with the dolphin. Our dolphin was named Dexter…..we were able to hug him, kiss him, feed him and swim with him.

...is one of the items on my “No Regrets” (to do before I die) list. A friend took me for my 42nd birthday. While it wasn’t swimming in the wild (which was actually on my list), It was a fantastic experience. We got some great photos!

This was a great experience for me and my kids.
Specially because we live in the desert.

An all around amazing experience. Its good for first time snorkelers too. If you can afford it, its a must
