Some locals scorn Legal because it’s where the tourists all want to go, but the food and service are consistently top-notch. There are several locations, and most of them get very busy, so plan accordingly. You can save $$ by going at lunch.

Best clam chowder! Also, if you want to go here, ask your concierge or look in the yellow pages, because they have locations all over the place in Massachusetts.

We have been here countless times. I have to recommend Legal Sea Foods-they have THE best rolls, and good sea food, too, but really their rolls are awesome!
We have seen a lot in MA, did the whole historic Boston tour, went to beaches, even visited a beach in RI on our last trip, watched the Boston Pops, sat on the river for fireworks on the 4th, visited MIT, toured BioGen, went to the museum of science, went to the JFK library, ventured to the tax-free outlet mall-OH YEAH and more that I am sure I am forgetting…

I’ve been here several times and always got the same thing. Last 2 times I ordered the filet and it was awesome. The chowder is a must.
