You’ll need it here. This is a fun time though! Our waiter played Forrest Gump Trivia with us while we waited for our meal to come out! Great fun! The food was good, the desserts were awesome! Get a window seat at sunset!!

Well I am bias cause I loved the movie. But I was curious about the food so it is was worth it. I went to the branch in New Orleans. I had this drink that was melon mixed with Vodka. Wow… lovely.

We went here on the recommendation of some random stranger on the street. In restrospect they were joking but they seemed very earnest at the time. We took about two hours to find out we were the butt of the joke, but it wasn’t all bad.

The gee-shucks ambiance went right over our heads, because at that time we’d never seen the movie. The waitress was dumbfounded. I guess most people go to the restaurant because they loved the movie and are eager for a trivial quiz with dinner.

Still, it wasn’t totally horible nor totally outrageous so although I can’t recommend going out of your way to see it, I wouldn’t give it a strong negative review either. If the movie Forest Gump changed your life, then check this out!
