Portland Saturday Market

total tourist trap.

I’ve been to the Portland Saturday Market many times and it’s always a fun, interesting, and different experience. There are lots of different things to shop for, eat, and see. Bring cash and wear comfortable shoes.

Bought a pair of cool sunglasses at the Portland Saturday Market in 2005 for $5. Still have ‘em! A friend of mine turned me onto incredibly good, fresh eggroll that can be found here. He was right! There’s all kind of other things for sale… fun to stroll and browse all the various booths!

This is a full day of fun & entertainment. Bring cash!
Lotsa different & good foods & beers. I recommend no strollers, it gets really crowded & you’ll put your kids in the way, making for tears, not fun. A tourist would love it as much as those who live here & go all the time. Ride the MAX ‘cuz driving/parking during that time is a bitch! Plus it’s cheaper than paying for gas, but can be standing room only if you don’t mind.

People watching is a blast, had wonderful company and seeing all of the wares to offer made for a great day… Multnomah falls and Saturday market… can’t go wrong there!

Fun times, locally made arts and crafts, good food, music, nice people.

Support local artists! You’ll find multicultural food, handmade shirts and bags, beautiful jewelry, gorgeous photography, etc. Definitely stop by!

Great place to take your visiting parents to.

fun place to walk around if visiting but not super interesting after you have been in town for a while

this was a pretty area to see. kinda of like a flea market or a swap meet. but it is nice because it is clean and not over ran with wanna be gangbangers.

during the time i was there, i saw a gentleman that was walking around with his dog on his back in a carrier. that was so funny.
