Elitch’s was originally based on the Tivoli Gardens and was a place for picnics, strolling and a great dance hall. Now, in a very bad new location, it is nothing but a dreary, hot downtown amusement park. What a pity.
over 3 years agoOnly go here if you’re a local and can’t find anything better to do. As far as amusement parks go, the only thing this place has going for it is its unique downtown location.
over 5 years agoI went when I was 11 years old so of course it was fun! It was cool seeing the Budweiser Clydesdales. To be honest that is all I really remember!!
over 5 years agoThe old Elitch’s WAS better. Trees, picnic tables, not the uncomfortable money pit it is now. NO outside food or drinks, and $3 for a bottle of water? Please. Go find a county fair for more fun at half the price.
over 7 years agoUsed to work here in my high school days. Alot of fun people, and good times. But in the OLD Elitch Gardens, is where I worked. The new place is alright. Just not the same
over 7 years agoI highly suggust going either late May or late August/early September. On a weekday if possible.
Me and a friend did that late August on a weekday and my god we waited like a minute at the most for every ride.
Late May is somewhat annoying unless you’ve got good luck and you’re stealthy and can hide in the bathrooms when they try to kick you out for the Science classes. You’ve been forewarned.
