Feelings on DEN
I enjoy this airport very much. The ceiling is cool. They have restaurants. It isn’t too big. Reminds me of my independence. Nice.

weather delays.
seems like every time I fly through Denver I have to hold my breath and pray there will be no delays. The best part about flying through denver to seattle/portland/la from the East coast is that you’re almost there… unless of course you are delayed.

A good airport in its own right, but it is WAY too far from downtown and out in the middle of nowhere. Any airport that requires nearly a $50 cab fare to go downtown is not worth it in my book.

Looks like a giant tent driving in. I experienced no traffic, no long wait. The only thing that sucked was that the walk to the gate was really far.

To me an airport’s an airport. DIA is pretty sweet, probably cause it’s one of like three airports I’ve been to but I like it, I never get lost.

Recent news reports have done a fine job detailing what a hassle Denver International Airport can be. I’m sure it isn’t like this all the time but the one time I flew there it was a total cluster f**k! Our landing was delayed becuase the airport had multiple flights trying to land at the same time. How this happened I’ll never know. I got the feeling that we were never given the full story. In any case we were forced to hover around Denver for almost an hour which caused us to miss our closely scheduled connection. We stayed a hotel overnight at the airline’s expense until we could catch the next flight to our destination. There were no snow or weather problems to blame. I’m sure this isn’t the norm for DIA but it’s my one and only experience there. I’d avoid it if possible.
