Seattle Underground Tour aka: Bill Speidel's Underground Tour

I did the Underground tour here this last week while visiting Seattle. Interesting history. Reminded me of the book “The Mole People” that I read awhile back about the homeless population in NYC living underground.

I went there with some of my friends, rather I made them come with me saying its a really good tour. And I can say that it was a terrible decision. It was a total waste of time for all of us. We could have just given more time to our Water front tour :)

If you can choose, go with “Shane”. He was pretty funny, looking and sounding like Norm MacDonald.

It was a fun touristy thing to do because you get a sense of the history of the city. Seattle is built on top of like two old Seattles, part of which is now underground.

was a few weeks ago, we were visiting friends for housewarming party. The Group wasn’t interested in going, since it was $11, but I was tired of hanging out in pubs/bars, so we split off and went. It was worth $11, but not more than that.

well worth doing….although this sort of history is right up my alley…I love it….

The tour guides are really ridiculously cheesy, but it’s worth seeing anyways. If you don’t want to deal with the toilet jokes, just lag behind a bit.

This is the for sure number one thing to do in Seattle.

This tour was great! I actually did it twice, 2 years apart. I learned all this cool information about Seattle’s history that I had never heard before.

The first time I took the Underground Tour, it was fun and informative. The second time… added nothing.
