The University of Sydney aka: Sydney Uni

Sydney Uni Law School is actually in CBD, but I did have one class on the main campus. If I could do it again, I would. Sydney was a blast, and got a Master’s degree to boot.

I tagged along with my cousin, who was going to go to USYD. It was open day. My first thought of the place. MAGNIFICENT! IT was stunning, i was shocked. I never imagined a university to look this amazing. The atmosphere was buzzing, music was playing and everything was nice and laid back, friendly people as well. One thing i won’t forget is the nice green grass.

I didn’t study here but I went to a wedding in the great hall, and think the buildings are pretty :)

I used to work here as a sysadmin in the department of MMB. It’s a lovely campus; the highlight has to be the Quadrangle (pictured), which is trying hard to be in Europe, but is pretty anyway.

I went to Sydney Uni for 2 years, and it’s definitely a beautiful campus – just stick to the Arts/Law/Education side rather than the Science side (Carslaw Building must be the ugliest building ever!).

As for the people, that’s a whole other matter. A great uni to go to if you’ve already got established friendship circles, otherwise it’s gonna be quite a lonely time for you.
