Taxco aka: Taxco de Alarcón

Probably my favorite place I went in Mexico. A really neat city built on mountain sides. It is supposably the silver capitol of the world, and you can get really cool silver jewlery for cheap in the big silver market. Don’t go to the tourist shops, you’ll pay twice as much.

Taxco’s streets are crazy, like a small European town. (Hmm, I wonder why that is?) Of course, there are lots of silver shops, all at wonderfully reasonable/cheap prices. Be firm in your spending limit. You’re going to want to buy almost everything!
