Grand Palace is some thing u have to see with your own eyes its so beutiful with all the gold and the wole story of the budism

it was two years ago when i last came to bangkok with a friend. if you are fond of shopping, great city to be in. :-)

i was amazed at the detail and intricacies of the artwork. i want to learn more about the symbolism of the significance of the art so I can appreciate it more but even if you know nothing about it, it is truly amazing.

Bangkok amazes me because there’s so much poverty amongst so many gold wat. This place is amazing and massive. Everywhere you look there’s gold and riches. The paintings along the walls are so elaborate. Definately worth seeing.

Lots of: gold, monks, tourists, shoes outside temples… I’m sure you get the picture.

I didn’t feel especially spiritually uplifted or anything – that’s what happens when you get lots of tourists together in the one spot.

It was much more modern looking than I expected.

Worth seeing anyway – it’s very intricate.
