Lodi

The quality of the local wines is excellent. The weather is wonderful and the area is truely in the center of all of California. It’s easy to get to the mountains or the shore. Yosemite, Carmel, SF Bay area, or Tahoe are all about the same driving time away from here. The resturants are good, the vineyards well worth visiting and the people are friendly.

I love the valley, and Lodi is such a lovely little town. I moved here to Lodi about a year ago when I got married, and I have had a very good experience so far. It’s nice and quiet and surrounded by pretty green pastures and farmlands. Lodi Lake is a nice little park to take a walk around. There are really cute little old houses and nice small restaurants downtown. It’s also the perfect place to live for driving out of town and seeing California. It is right in the middle of the state so you can drive in pretty much any direction and get there in a reasonable amount of time.

Lodi is for sure a nice little town to visit, lots of vinyards, littls shops, and is so close to Sacramento, The Bay Area, and the Stockton Delta. Boating is great here, and there are alot of great little resaraunt here to eat at to, come to Lodi you’ll have a joyful time.

The Wine-Grape Capital of the World?! Of course it’s worth visiting!

Been here for two years. Slow, quiet little town. I like it.

...but to plan a trip to Lodi? Next someone will be telling me that Escalon is a happenin place ;)

Nothing wrong with the place, but if you’re planning a trip to go somewhere, see someplace like San Francisco, or check out Clear Lake or Lake Shasta for a getaway.

I currently call Lodi my home and I enjoy living here. Close to the Delta (nice breeze during hot summer nights and plenty of boating). Also close to Sacramento and the Bay Area. Crime is low and quality of life is decent.
