Houghton

I was fortunate to attend Michigan Tech University in Houghton and explored all of the surrounding area. From Caves and Mines, to Mountains, waterfalls, fishing, hunting and limitless Camping, there maybe no better places. A world unto itself, the locals are friendly, the atmosphere is unique and the beer is plentiful. Truely a special place thta one must spend some time to enjoy

I live about 20 minutes north of Houghton, but I attend MTU. It’s really a great place. Very quaint. I love going to school here.

This is the farthest point that I have been in the United States. I loved the climate and people here. I lost touch with a friend that I made here. I was able to spend a little time here.

small town Michigan. Very beautiful place though the locals can be a little strange. :)

The first college I went to. I really loved Houghton. I would reccomend it to anyone, it’s a great escape. Beautiful scenery and just a great place, no matter how far north it is.
