San Carlos De Bariloche aka: Bariloche

i went during the summer time, it was fun but everyone has said its much mmuch better during winter when you can sky, because the town is so small, there isnt much to do otherwise

Great places to eat, lots of very very nice places to visit on tours, wonderfull landscape, and gorgeous people too. People there not only look good, they also dress incredibly nice. It almost bothered me, everyone looking as if they were in a magazine cover…
But don’t miss it, anyone who has the chance should not think twice. The view of the lake is just astounding..

I was 13 years old. It was incredible. Now I want to go again, with my wife and daughter this time.

If the chocolate, ice cream, steak, trout and pizza don’t do it for you, maybe the rock climbing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, parasailing, rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, sailing and kayaking will.

The city itself isn’t exciting as a city – although it does have decadent deserts, unbelievable scenary, killer night-life (blues at 5am anyone?) and friendly, talktative locals. Some people are turned off from Bariloche becuase it’s the high-school senior trip destination for almost the entire countyr, and many parts of Brazil.

The trick is to go in December or late February and get out as much as possible – there’s so much to do you could spend a lifetime and only see half of it.

After living there for two years and being back multiple times since, it’s one of my favorite places on the planet.

But with way more class. Bariloche is a wonderful, albeit touristy town in the Patagonia region of Argentina. I was only able to spend about 3 days there in Sept of 2005, but I had a fantastic time skiing and enjoying the culture.

If you go to Bariloche, and you have the time, the”Cruce de los lagos” (lake-cross) to Puerto Mont in Chile is particularly worthwhile! Incredibly beautiful

This city is amazing… and the chocolate!
Sky, snowbord, trecking, extreme sport- you can do enything there!

I have been there some time ago, but when I was there it was a very nice place to go in Winter time. Had a good time there and met many nice Argentinian girls. I recomend!
