Val D'Isere

I went to Val d’Isère for the second time this year. Wonderful skiing – the number one reason to visit! This town is one of my favorite vacation destinations. The locals are friendly, and I love the older buildings in town that date back as far as the seventeenth century. Also fun are the cozy little cafes, and the cinema with French movies every night.

It is a beautiful and complete sky station, with many good hotels and restaurants. You can go there alone (if you want to focus on competitive skying) or with your family (to enjoy the mountain life).

Lovely in every way. The skiing has the variation of few. Can´t find any other ski resort that can beat Val d’Isere in variation, both on the mountain and during evening.
