A review of this place: awesome

the world’s largest unreenforced concrete dome, built by the romans about 2000 years ago. Very impressive.

A tip I have about this place

If you don’t want to wait in any lines or listen to a tour guide for hours, this is the best place to go.

A review of this place

Walked from the hotel with this as my destination. Figured I couldn’t go to Roma and not see the Pantheon.

What I wasn’t expecting is that even though there are throngs of people outside, getting in to see the Pantheon wasn’t difficult and best of all, it was free.

The outside of the building does not do justice to how spectacular the interior is. Definately worth the trip!

A tip I have about this place

Don’t just go inside, walk around the building to see the ruined columns around the outside of the building. They’re beautiful. And, if you good at photography you can have fun taking some of the best photos.

A review of this place: About it's architecture

The height to the oculus and the diameter of the interior circle are the same (43 metres, or 142 feet 6 inches), so the whole interior would fit exactly within a cube (alternatively, the interior could house a sphere 43 metres in diameter). The dome is the largest surviving from antiquity.
