Ocala

Ocala is a beautiful place, and its in Florida which is a bonus but its rather boring, not an awful lot to do.

I lived in Ocala for about six months and I will tell you that that was 6 months of my life wasted. Ocala is THE most boring place I’ve been to in the 21 years of my life. I still have a few family members living there and I visit quite often. I just got back last Sunday…and absolutely NOTHING has changed in SLOcala. I definitely do not recommend going to Ocala if you’re ages 14-35. Not even the weather is a redeeming quality here.

My parents live in an even smaller community near Ocala, and when I visit them we have gone here to shop and to restaurants. There used to be a train from Philadelphia to Ocala and I took that twice. Now it stops elsewhere. We viisted the Appleton Museum of Art once around Christmastime. It was decorated nicely and there was a community tree-decoration contest going on at that time, so we saw some beautiful trees throughout the museum.

ocala is gorgeous. Lived there once, could live there again.

I would never, ever, suggest that anyone move to Ocala, FL!!!It’s hot, humid, full of bugs, strange people, low paying jobs, and not much to do! We have a mall, and a few movie theaters, but nothing interesting! I hate it here…
