Fuengirola

It was quite built up and touristy here, but the beach was lovely and had a wide range of different activities available. Me and my friend were hoping to try the parasailing but it was too much to cram into the one week! The best time to go out though is in the evenings when all the stalls open up, and there are puppet shows, and lots of different things to buy and see. There are a few bars but its not too busy or noisy its just relaxed.Its also much cooler in the evenings which makes it a nicer time to go exploring

I moved here in 1998 from the UK, chasing a dream of a relaxed life near the sea, sipping Sangria’s.

Fuengirola changed my life because it taught me great lessons while I was turning into an adult, I grew up very quickly but also enjoyed the freedom that the Costa del Sol had to offer, 320 days of sunshine, beach bars, funky nightclubs, restaurants galor the quality of life is 110% better than the UK

Just had a great week away here. Very touristy, but a great base for visiting other places in the area. Plus good beaches and great weather.

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. Take time to stray off the beaten track, away from the pubs and chip shops, and take in some of the wonder this area has to offer.

Now this was memorable! I went on this trip in my grade 12 year and met a guy from Wisconsin who was there with his family for vacation. We kept in touch after we got back( me – to Halifax and he – to Wausau) My graduation formal was coming up and he decided to fly up and take me to it. He had never been to Canada before. I will never forget this and I still use the beautiful jewelry box he gave me as a graduation gift (31 years ago).
The trip to Spain, besides this event, was fabulous….I loved all of it!
