beautiful. i can’t wait to go back.

i made our hotel reservations for the celebration of friends next june!

ok so i only got to stand on it for 5 minutes, and we had to cut thru a hotel garden to get to it but yea if you can take 5 to stand on the sand :)

the beautiful women, endless stretches of pristine beaches and turkquoise blue water.

i was here all week of spring break. always a party somewhere. gota check out the strip mall, crobar, mansion, and afterglow. you have to goto those places when you are there. trust me.

If you can ignore the fake sickness, plasticity of the surroundings, and focus on the beatiful weather and beaches. Take a drive down to the keys and it is well worth the trip.

Cute little neon hotels on Ocean Drive, restaurants with seating that pour outdoors, palm trees, wind, sun, outdoor shopping. Very walkable, has a very American feel to it. I was shown the one side that extreme wealth is concentrated here, but there are also the poorer areas. Sunburnt homeless people about, “crazies” that shout out loud. I admire the Spanish speaking people. Women walk around Ocean Drive with bikini tops – hey, it’s near the beach. There are models to spot here and there. People are not afraid to check each other out and go right up to hit on people – whether on the street, or while driving the car. When someone finds someone physically attractive, it is more visible than where I come from.

i lived here for six years, i still visit from time to time. the jazz shows at lincoln theatre are great, wayne shorter!

Club Music. I found the answer to why all the guys were drinking water. 1995-2000. Moving the day after the millenium was not a good idea. It was a good mix of gay & straight. it was even edgy. By 2000 though, I could see it changing a lot.
I still miss it. Where else would you get a chance to puke in Madge’s toilet?
