El Yunque aka: Caribbean National Rain Forest

i went swimming at that waterfall. one of the best things i ever did.

Wonderful forest nice and 50 to 65° break from the usuall puerto rican climate. Wonderful roads to cruise threw and tons of hiking trails. I knew when I was there it was true there wasnot a poisonous animal/insect on the island to humans dunno if it still holds true. Was last there in 1993

was a wonderful place especially after being in puerto rico for a while to enjoy the 60 degree temps in this lush area. I was always told there are no poisonis animals to humans on the island as well.

It was beautiful. I drank from the waterfall. I’d like to go back and hike the trails.

The waterfallss were as pretty as they seem online, but you can’t get close enough to them!!! Well you cant get IN them which is what I wanted. I went during rainy season, but it was still lovely.

Not a very large forest, but quite beautiful.
