I had a friend when I was little who ran away from home and into this forest, she lived in the forest like a wild thing, and stole canned food from nearby vacation homes when she was hungry.

I wonder where she is now.

If you like hiking, this is somewhere you want to go. if you hate hiking, this is somewhere you want to go. There are foot pathes, and road ways, that get to the same place. Such a beautiful place, it doesn’t get much more awsome than this.

Absolutely BREATHTAKING!! So beautiful…and the water is COLD. My first time in an actual rainforest. It was amazing.

We ran through the rainforest, through heat and sweat…finally we made it to the waterfall at the end.

gorgeous

this was an really awesome day….we hiked to the waterfall (about 4 or 5 miles) through the rainforest and then once we got there it was packed with people lounging on the rocks. I had a good time talking to people and taking pictures. This is definately worth seeing!

Bring a jacket

Listening to hundreds of coqui (little frogs) chirping right after the rain was very memorable.
