Pismo Beach

Young and broke, my husband and I went on our honeymoon here rather than somewhere “exotic.” It was the best week of my life! We went kayaking, surfing, drank beer and played pool, and explored the shoreline a bit.

not much for tourists to do . . . just a place to pass through. Lots of older folks. The coastline is gorgeous but the area needs some revitalization.

Get away from life. Me and Alexandra have a plan that we’re gonna put into action as soon as we can get a car and a liscense. It will be our escape from when things go bad, we’ll stay there and we’ll figure it out. They’ll know we aren’t shitting around.

Pismo beach is opened to motorized vehicles ! This means you can go rent an ATV and spend a while speeding through the dunes, or go with your SUV and drive on the sand… It’s not a very eco-friendly activity but man it’s fun !!! ;)

For some reason, their Starbucks is cheaper than anywhere else I’ve been. That’s a good enough reason for me to drop by when driving up and down the coast.
