Macomb

I grew up here. Well until High School anyway. It’s not a bad visit if you go during the summer while the St. Louis Rams are at WIU training.

being a small agricultural/college town isolated in western illinois, there isn’t a whole lot to do. the college campus is fairly decent and downtown macomb has its moments including the square and a few good restaurants and a few shops. wal-mart supercenter is one of the main attractions though, sadly. you do kinda feel isolated here though. it’s a good idea to have a good working car here, so you can go up to the quad cities once in awhile and go for nice rides in the country. the st. louis rams also used to do spring training here.

One of my best friends moved there a couple of months ago. I want to go see her house in the cornfields.

ah, Macomb – its small and boring and chances are you will find yourself passing the time at the Super Wal-Mart. But, after spending four quality years there… I can’t help but miss it from time to time.

Its where I go to college, its alright, I feel at home here. Thats all that really matters.

It seems like there’s not a whole lot to do here, but for the size of the town, it’s not bad.
