Paphos

I’m headed here for a wedding next week! I absolutely cannot wait. I’ve never been – any suggestions for things I shouldn’t miss??

Sunshine, great food, great people.

During March there is a 10k run, half marathon and a marathon in same day. The finish line is at the Paphos fort and the marathon starting line is at Aphrodities rock. I went in 2007 and it was great to watch and chear on. The wiiner came from Jordan and a Brit followe in second.

Would go back any day! Did so much. It felt like it wasn’t a real holiday. Needed another week to get over it.

This is such a beautiful place, if you go there then you should go to the club Woodyz! Its great there!

I love Cyprus. The people are lovely, they drive on the correct side (as far as I’m concerned!) and there was a sweet icecream guy who stopped outside our villa almost every day, sold us towering cones for a ridiculously tiny price – and when he saw that we hadn’t ordered for the last member of our party (she wasn’t hungry) insisted we take a free lolly for her anyway! Sun, sea, sand, mountains, peace. Cyprus.
