Peterborough

It’s a great city and I’ve only lived here for 6 months. I’ve made wonderful friends and have lots of support with the mental health system. The buses are easy to unerstand – they are start at the terinca and then go back to the terminal every run. There is no such thing as getting lost in Peterborough if you take the transit system because ALL buses end up back at the terminal.
Very friendly place, lots of variety as far as stores go. Friendly people, beautiful scenery. Students are kinda noisy, but then again, what students aren’t? I hope I never have to move away from here.

spent two years living here. it’s a wonderful place, it’s full of character. there are some seriously awesome places to eat and always plenty of live music.

Does anyone know a Luke Prucha? He might go by the name of Dave. I miss him and I want to talk to him. He lives in Peterborough now and goes to the Bridgestone Racing Academy. Can someone look in a phonebook there for me or tell me if you know him?

...the Lift Locks are something to see. Honestly, I don’t do anything in Peterborough except shop for stuff that the town by our cottage doesn’t have. Maybe I’ll check it out this summer.

My friend goes to Trent University here, and their campus is wicked awesome. 60% given over to a nature reserve, the bus is free for students, and one of the buildings looks like a dragon.

The worlds highest lift locks and only one of eight in the world. Amazing engineering! If you’re in the area, it’s a must see. There are boat cruises that go through the locks as well.
