Sayulita

Great little town to get away and relax. Rented a house with some friends and spent most of our 7 days just hanging out on the beach, playing in the surf and drinking banderas.

Years ago I spent a week in Sayulita with someone very special. We had a wonderful time, and now, when I want to relieve stress or “go to my happy place” this is where I go in my mind.

It’s a great little village, representative of both old Mexico and American tourist.

I haven’t gotten around to blogging our Sayulita trip yet but here’s my Sayulita photoset.

We’re leaving for Sayulita on Friday. Ay! We have to pack. I think I’ll blog this trip as I did the one to Cabo Pulmo.

We’re going here in October for some friends’ wedding. It will be nice to get back to Mexico again, particularly since I only spent a few days there that one time.

Off the beaten path but still frequented enough by visitors that you can get by just speaking English.

Great little surfing town. Supper chill and fun to hang out in.
