The last time I went to this place

The picture dude has on this place looks like a met lab to me. The Inland Empire is famous for it’s met labs.
I was here today seeing a facility.

I grew up here.

I think the title is pretty self explanatory.

Why I recommend this place to visitors

Redlands a wonderful little upscale city east of Los Angeles. It is next to the world famous Loma Linda, California.

Why I recommend this place to visitors

Redlands is a sweet little town, kind of frozen in time. It looks just the same as it did when I lived there ten years ago. Old, classic style homes, cobblestone curbs, a cute public library, market night… It’s all so quaint and lovely. The Redlands Bowl is a must-see. Go in the summer for the free concert series. I miss it!

Oh man..

Sorry guys but..most of the orange groves are gone! Replaced with fancy houses for doctors and such to live. It just doesnt even look right without the groves.
I do like downtown Redlands though. It’s fun driving around that part.

We got married in Redlands!

The Carriage House at Prospect Park was such a relaxing, intimate, and beautiful place to get married! The best part is that it is so close…my husband and I go back once in a while for a picnic at our old wedding spot!

I lived here for a year

I lived in Redlands in 1987. Back then, the smell from the orange groves was strong enough to knock you over at certain times of the year. And it had a small town quality – people were friendly and knew each other.

In January, 1988 I moved to an apartment in San Bernardino, and then I left Southern California in August, 1989. I’ve only been back to visit the area once, in the summer of 1993. Sometimes I visit the San Bernardino Sun web site, and am amazed by how much I remember, and even more amazed by how much has changed, unfortunately not all for the better.

I miss this place...

I love the small town feel of Redlands. I love the orange groves. I love that on a clear day you can see the mountains in the distance. I love the proximity to the beach, skiing, downtown LA, and Palm Springs. I spent a year there, and I’d love to go back. Everyone mocks me for missing Redlands… but it really is a beautiful place.

redlands is pretty chill.

its a great place i live here on redlands blvd.
nothing too exciting with the exception of the newest edition to the small town”citrus plaza”
other than this remarkable shopping center, and some nice artistic homes.
redlands isn’t too exciting .
