Siesta Key

Craig and I went here together; our first time flying the coop. Headaches and, yes, white sand. I never got to go see the rocks.

My future father in law, fiance and I went to Siesta Key for New Years and we had a blast! Live great music everyhere…bars…good dining and its not expensive.( As long as you dont forget your bathing suit..uh hum..like I did…the stores there charge over $100 for a peice a fabric they call a bathing suit. Thank god for shorts and a teeshirt…lol : )

With so much to do from dining to the beach, It has so much to offer for those of us inclined to have fun.

siesta key is absolutely gorgeous!! the sand is like flour and the water is beautiful!

On my first ever trip to Florida, my brother took me for a week to Siesta Key. This is the best place in FL to my opinion. I would love to move here some day. All the people were very nice, and the sunsets there are amazing.

Located in Sarasota, Florida. National Geographic Magazine once stated: “Siesta Key is a beach like no other.” The sand is 99 percent pure quartz pulverized into powder so fine that if you take a handful and sprinkle it into a glass of water, it floats! Its granular size is smaller than sugar (much like baby powder). I have visited this place once before and it amazed me how the beach was cool to the touch on a 90 degree day at noon! Sand piled beneath a beach towel makes a great pillow for a little Siesta at Siesta Key Beach, Florida!

When they said “the unbearable lightness of being”, they must have meant this place. Not a care in the world, not a thing to do. Rent a condo at the Racquet Club (I think it’s called). Right by the beach, reasonably priced, and you get the added benefit of the tennis courts.

If I had known that little Maria Sharapova lived just over the bridge and around the corner (or if I had knowh who Maria Sharapova was), I would have probably felt more special staying there.

This is the beach my family and I like the best while we are in Florida.

My sweetheart Is from here, and yeah thats one of the most Important reason why I want to travel here.
I absolutely want to go, this place Is so beautiful and I love the beaches. But mostly because I miss him so much, and It will just make a half full circle circle, full…
