Went here around October 07’ for my birthday. Customer Service was practically nill but the food made up for it. The bathrooms were pretty dirty and everything was cramped. I didnt mind so much but the people I was with had a few complaints. I’ve heard since that it was closed down by the heath department for sewer problems and insects (ick) All in all, a great new york experience but with a few flaws

I went there during the summer with some friends. The wait was longgg, so we had time to wander around to Dylan’s Candy Bar and whatnot. I got the foot long hot dog and shared the Frozen Hot Chocolate. It wasn’t THAT great in all honesty, but the place was unique. The restaurant itself looked like it was in a cramped, antique apartment with nice paintings. The waiter was really nice and friendly. It’s worth going just to see what the fuss is all about, but I wouldn’t go back any time soon.

LONG lines so you have to go at off-times (when is that?) but it is worth at least 1 visit for the FAMOUS frozen hot chocolate (I like the version with peanut butter). Good for sharing.

It was very good. Come with an appetite and a sweet tooth!

so, If you’re planning to go here for dinner my suggestion is to either make a reservation (if you can) or show up here put your name down, it will probs be an hour wait or so, then go a few doors down to Dylan’s candy bar. Also in the area is an urban outfitters & bloomingdales for fun shopping. uuhm yeah, and there’s a subway stop right near it.

chyea, the food was worth it though, super good. & the frozen hot chocolate :)

The only reason worth going is for the Frrrrrozen Chocolate, which is no better than a Wendy’s Frosty. Skip it!

The last time I was in New York it was too crowded for me.. I love the meaning of the word, I hated the movie but I cannot wait to taste the pastries there… Yum
