Warszawa aka: Warsaw

I lived for 8 years in a city called Lodz which is in the centre of Poland about 150kms away from Warsaw. Whilst Lodz is a drab, grey industrial city, Warsaw has the true feel and look of an old European city steeped in history.

More importantly for me it is here that the true love of my life resides, Marta. We met on a tram. We fell in love and now I am in Dubai.

So sad. Just passing ships in the night of an eternal ocean.

Warsaw is for me the City of Love

I was born in Warsaw and I live here for nearly 18 years and I love this city! And the rest are details. :P

Walking through old Warsaw in the cold, windy rain. Clubbing at Underground and drinking Polish beer. Shopping and feeling at home at the Wedel chocolate shop. Being locked into the hotel bathroom for 15 minutes. This is a changing and growing city.

So I was born in Warsaw, I call it the original Ghetto, although it’s really not ghetto at all. Warsaw is great for the most part. It’s great cause of all the miniskirts, the theatre on the lake, the royal park and the old town. It’s not so great cause there’s still some douches out there that think Nazi’s were a good thing, but those dorks are being phased out thanks to the skaters and the punks.

I love this city :) I live nearby

I have been in Warsaw from February 2005 to July 2005. As a exchange student from Austria I visited the University of Warszawa. I mean not often as there where so many other exciting things to do.
Meet people and hang arround in the city. Only thing I did not realy like was the very cold and long winter. ;-)
But I still missing a lot of places there. Especially the poster museum in wilanow. And I have to come back to go to cafe “to lubie” in nowe miasto to eat the best sernik cake in town.
