Virgin Gorda

Definitely worth the visit. We stayed at Bitter End Yacht Club and it was amazing.

I have tried to explain the baths to people, but always come up short. I need to get back to the Caribbean again soon!

Years ago I visited Virgin Gorda and 6 years ago built a villa at South Sound on Virgin Gorda. Really love it there.

I spent a week in Virgin Gourda as a young mum in 1973. The beaches were sugar fine white coral sand, the water was crystal blue. My two year old daughter loved it! We swam in the “Baths”, underground caves created by huge boulders down near the beach. Very fond memories!

I’ve been here twice, the last time when I was about 15…. best snorkeling I’ve ever done because it was so pristine. Scary landing on the airport’s strip (a week after we went, our neighbor’s went on our recommendation- and their plane misjudged the length of the strip and went into the ocean- they were ok- but still!). But BEAUTIFUL. I want to go back.

the most beautiful place I’ve EVER visited. I want to honeymoon there one day.
