Most memorable place in Nova Scotia

Out of all the places in Nova Scotia, I remember this one the most vividly. I can almost taste the fresh blueberry pancakes in summertime and feel the rocks under my hands from when I used to scale the cliffs as a child.

A Brief Walk at Peggy's Cove

I went for a short walk at Peggy’s Cove with Gwen today. The crashing waves and giant, smooth rocks were delightful.

Awesome!

The day we were there the wind was high and it was freezing. The waves around the lighthouse were huge. After exploring the alien-looking terrain, we enjoyed lobsters at a seaside restaurant. Peggy’s Cove is great!

awesome

The ocean air is nice. The seafood is second to none. The hospitality is great. Not that far of a drive from Halifax.

A review of this place: Grew up around here- Beautiful!

I love peggy’s cove- come see the huge waves, the giant rocks left behind by moving glaciers, whales! Swiss Air Flight 111 went down into this sea, come visit the memorial. Surronding communities are peaceful, warm, full of nature and little wonders, b&b’s galore, great places to eat, and more!

Nice day trip

On our honeymoon to Halifax, we took a quick jaunt up to Peggys Cove. Its not a very long way, and its a pretty drive.
We went to lunch at that little restaurant right next to the lighthouse, and it was surprisingly yummy food for what is really just a tourist stop.
The big rocks were fun to climb on, and my husband and I liked searching for critters in the little pools and in the marshes. We saw a weasel!
It was quite windy, and I was concerned I would fall to my death off the rocks if I climbed too high. Aside from that, it was a lot of fun, and very beautiful.

been a while

It’s been sometime since I visited Peggy’s Cove. I do remember checking out the gallery of DeGarthe. I was so pleased to have met him that day. He is truly one of those artists that captured the maritime spirit and that will never be forgotten.
