New York New York Hotel and Casino

Was not expecting it to be that tall. I couldn’t see the first drop from the outside. Holy crap. It was really fun, though. That scared the crap out of me. I rode next to my sister, my brother rode next to my cousin, and my uncle rode by himself. The heartline twist hurt my head a little, since my head flung forward on the twist, and flung back and hit the back of the seat on the little curve-in drop. My uncle was making funny remarks the entire time. I didn’t stay there, but I rode the ride there, went around the casino with my family, and just looked around. It looked cool. The thing that sucked was that almost every 10-15 seconds, there was an annoying jackhammer-like sound, since they were under construction at the time.

this hotel is just fun! from the casino in the middle of central park, to the manhattan express roller-coaster w/ yellow cab cars that you ride in. fun fun fun!

terrible casino… but fun place to stay. GREAT food in the chinese place and American Cafe. My favorite thing about this hotel/casino is how pretty it is inside and especially the dual piano bar!!

My # 1 fav of the LV strip!!! This is the place to stay. If you like hotel/casinos that are themed like I do, this place will win you over. It is totally decked out in New York fashion inside and out. It is a wonderful and refreshing addition to the LV strip since after walking through many of the casinos they all start to look and feel the same. I think the only casinos/hotels on the strip that are original are The Luxor, NY NY, Circus Circus, and of course the Venetian.

I won 500 bucks here. Gotta love it

My wife and I stayed there the wekkend of March 2nd-4th in 2007. We got reduced rates through Dollie.
We stayed in room 2180.

The rollercoaster was okay – if you are a rollercoaster enthusiast, it won’t give you the biggest thrill of your life, but it’s a fun way to see the city and worth the few dollars to “ride through New York”.

If you like it loud and a bit on the run down side, this is for you. The room I had was a small suite and it had lots of damage that needed repair – the TV in the bedroom didn’t have a functional remote for all of the entertainment equipment. Time for a makeover NY NY!
