Lincoln Park

My wife and I just got back from a day trip to Lincoln Park the day after Thanksgiving. It was filled with goodies, but the cream of the crop was spending time together at Cafe Ba Ba Reeba off Halsted and Armitage. It’s a pretty big place and it’s been there forever, but it’s a staple of Lincoln Park and worth visiting.

Went up to take my youngest son to Children’s Memorial Hospital. Really nice neighborhood, though a bit on the pricy side.

so bad!! I stayed at the Days Inn in front of Borders just this weekend, everything is right there…

I’ve lived in Lincoln Park for almost a year and plan to stay for a while…

Lincoln Park is a beautiful park with a small pond but it’s big enough to where you could canoe in it plus inside the park is one of the best zoos I have ever been to, Lincoln Park Zoo. I go every year. It’s a great place.

Lincoln Park is a huge public park along Lake Michigan featuring beaches, recreation facilities and even a zoo. I’ve only been to a tiny part of it, and I’d like to go back and see more. The Chicago Park District Web site has some interesting info about the park’s early history.
