It's A Small World

10+ years later and I still get the song stuck in my head…

It’s a classic. How can you go to Disneyland and not go on this ride? That is a cardinal sin of amusement parks.

I said that it’s worth visiting, but hear me out.

I go to Disneyland about once each year. I generally visit the park for five or six days in a row.

I will generally go on Small World only once.

The best thing about Small World:
When it’s hot outside it feels really good in there.

I HATE THIS RIDE

But if you’re not Lisa Simpson, go during Christmas, when it is ridiculously lit up on the outside. If you choose to partake of certain substances, you might find the effect bemusing. (Not that I would do that myself, in that real life trips me out enough as it is.)

The happiest boat that sailed! It’s full of love and innocence. The part of Peru is pretty nice!

This ride is very cute…and I think it’s the longest ride in the park. I hadn’t been on it in YEARS because the lines are just not worth it after you’ve grown up going to Disneyland.

Yesterday, for the first (and probably last) time, this entire ride was filmed by my camcorder. Do you wonder how many times they say “it’s a small world afterall”? An insane amount of times.

And all the while, this kid that sat behind me kept singing the song, but without the words, just “la la-la la la la-la…”

That’s all on tape too.

No, no, no a resounding NOOOO!
