The Grassy Knoll

Slightly sad/eerie, but mostly just annoyingly full of gawking tourists and people trying to sell you conspiracy-themed newspapers (really forcefully).

There are a LOT of unsavoury characters in Downtown Dallas but I suspect they’re mostly harmless during the day (despite the scare-story the cops were giving me at the greyhound station).

While I appreciate the historical facts, I thought it was pretty creepy. I don’t want to go back.

I thought it was a great place to see and feel the history of the place. I didn’t like the many people selling all of the conspiracy theory stuff though. Plus, I was flipped off at least 8 times by drivers while I was sitting on the hill with my friends. Just that it is very historical makes this place worth visiting.

Cool History!! I don’t even like history, but had an interesting time here!

Kind of boring, but fun to visit once in awhile.

It was very odd for me to be driving home every morning last summer, passing the book depository and the grassy knoll, and seeing the Xs on the pavement, and realizing that I was driving the same route that JFK took when he was shot… it is worth visiting, I think.

there needs to be something more….maybe a marker in the concrete or something!

nothing really to see, just get to feel history. Which is great. I just had to see it and now I have.

If you’ve seen the specials films etc on the assasination, you will fell very odd when you stand on the grassy knoll

it’s worth a visit. & there are plenty of other things to do in dallas if you make the trip out! =)
