Dubuque

Went for a visit to a mission and found many interesting people and cultures there.

It’s really cool if you like museums and Mississippi River history. Kid friendly, too.

This IS the highlight of Dubuque…

its a surprinsgly cool little town. the streets are very curvy. the buildings are interesting. lots of hippies and hipsters.

Dubuque is just a beautiful place stuck in the middle of nowhere.
To fully appreciate it, you’ve got to listen to Windham Hill’s “Dubuque.”
Captures it in a lovely fashion.

Really it does…I GOT OUT OF THERE!!!! WHOOT!!!! YAY FOR ME!!!

Home of the Society of the Divine Word College. There is a college there, which awards B.A. and B.S. degrees. Very good for anthropology.
