East Village aka: The Bowery

This place called the Village Pourhouse is without a doubt the best bar in the east village. I have been living here for almost seven years and TVP is the best bar I have come across yet. Go you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been here, but I want to go here again. Actually, more directly, I want to LIVE here… but going will be on my list for now… (even though I’m moving in a year- to this location, I do not know).

it’s a great place to shop, eat, hang out, drink, draw, explore, see interesting people. it’s one of my favorite places in NYC.

and I am about to move to avenue C. Is that still the east village? maybe it’s the lower east side. Not sure. Anyway, it seems pretty cool with lots of great restaurants.

I’m getting ready to move to Avenue C, actually. The East Village is wonderful.

If you want a downtown experience, skip the East Village and go to the Lower East Side instead. There’s some OK stuff in the Village, but all in all it’s overpriced, bland, fratty.
