I’ve been here 3 or 4x and my hot tip of the day is – Go here with people who know where the locals eat. We mostly only at at local holes in the wall and were amazed at how delicious and cheap the food was. When we would go to the touristy places, not only was the food gross, but it was way over priced.

When my wife and I were six months into dating, we went here with another couple (MF and Marcella). I remember being nervous driving my car in Baja.

Of the Northern Baja towns, Tijuana, Ensenada and Rosarito, I like Rosarito the best. It’s much smaller than the others and the beach is easily accessible. There are lots of choices for food from nice sit down restaurants to the taco stands along the strip. To pick a good taco stand, look for one that has an abundance of locals. A little further South is the Hotel Calafia, a hotel built into the cliffs along the ocean. It’s expensive but offers wonderful views.

It was awesome! Definitely spring the $10 to ride horses on the beach.. it was way too much fun.

The first time I went to Rosarito was for a wedding. It was probably the best weekend ever! It was sooo much fun! And during the day it’s so beautiful. The Hotel Calafia is really fantastic. Check it out. Also, Papa’s & Beer is good, so is Iggy’s.

be prepared to get extremely drunk and look out for the horseshit on the beaches.

Going in June with a friend…I want to eat a lobster dinner and go out on quads on the beach. Just have fun, I suppose. =)

You guys have to definately drop by on a weekend… Especially for spring break like April… WOW!!! just WOW!!!
