Magic Kingdom

Being a Florida native, I have been here several times throughout my life. Especially as a child. And though I am grown now, and have contempt for the Disney corporation for their sweatshops and human rights abuses, as well as for their control over a nice-sized chunk of the media, I still cannot help but feel the magic of my childhood when I step through the gates. My last trip was a couple of years ago. I really want to go with a small group of good friends, and take a small handful of good mushrooms.

I go there every year, except for 2007. And the last time I went I did not get to go to Magic Kingdom, which I was really sad about, because it has the animation studio and stuff. :/

Anyway, if you go to Disney World, I recommend getting jump passes, so that you can go from park to park. It is definitely worth it in every way! :D

Oh, and I don’t stay at Disney World. My grandparents live two hours away, so we just drive there for a day and come back. It is awesome. :]

Happy 25th birthday to me.

I was in Kindergarten..or First grade, i’m not sure which. Anyway, my parents surprised me. As we were getting close to the gates, there were signs of Disney and my parents didn’t want me to see them so they drew my attention to the different color leaves on the trees beside the road. It was Winter. And I said the classic line on the monorail (my mom always remembers this): “I have the biggest smile ever.” Everytime I go here, I always leave feeling like I’ve been somewhere magical.

Do not go to Disney World. Unless you like paying ten bucks for ice cream, waiting in three hour lines, and walking around in 90 degree heat, you probably won’t enjoy it.

It’s impossible to not come here when you’re at Disney World. Make sure to invest a lot of time here.

I went to Magic Kingdom for Senior Trip Grad Nite this past April. It lasted until 4am and my boyfriend and I fell asleep on the ground…I don’t know how because they were blaring rap on speakers that were EVERYWHERE..you could not escape them!! This was the Grad Nite thing…but I did enjoy the rides, Thunder Mountain being my favorite.

the buzz lightyear ride and space mountain were fun, but the rest were somewhat dissapointing.
