Epcot

I went to this place in 1994, and I have to say it was terribly old, broken-down looking and boring. Homer Simpson was right when he decried having to go there. Hopefully it’s changed since then and they’ve updated something If you’re far too young to know the difference, I’m sure it’d be just as exciting as something else with creepy rides from the 60’s.

This is by far my favorite of the Disney-area parks. You can go around the world in a day!

We always thought Epcot would be one of the boring parks but it turned out to be one of my favourite. It’s just all round good fun. It’s divided into different countries, but we were rained off and only got to do China and Mexico. I had the time of my life though, and want this to be the first place I visit if I go back.

I took the kids to Walt Disney World, FL in 2002, they 9 & 11. Epcot was the high point of our visit, along with Disney Adventureland and Typhoon Lagoon. Unfortunately the day was too hot and my son was coming down with something (nurse’s stations in each park give wonderful care) but we wandered and loved each village. I am simply dying to get back alone to take proper time to wander and discover. The evening extravaganza was absolutely not to be missed, TO DIE FOR! It left this huge indelible impression on the 3 of us and we all left teary eyed. We won’t ever have the money to return. I’m so happy that they had the opportunity to visit at ages which so appreciate the fun. And God bless Walt Disney and his vision of joy and love for all ages. We did indeed find Disney World and the Music Resort Hotel a dream come true for us. I hope you all get to go and enjoy it tool.

Thats a place for children that wants to know about all of the progress of the land and energy.

I’ve only been here once, and it was for a 6th grade end of the year trip. It’s been a while so I’m sure I wouldn’t turn down going again. It just wouldn’t be at the top of my list. It’s more of an educational theme park, from what I remember.

We got a guidebook before we left, and I’ll be darned if that book didnt tell us exactly where to go in the park and when.

Go late in the afternoon and stay until park closes. Also, do not miss the movie in the France pavilion. It is a must!
