I went to Walt Disney World last year with my wife and a couple we’ve close with. The ladies were already heading to Miami for a conference, and we decided to go for a few days before their conference began. We wished we’d been in a position to take the kids, but it was financially infeasible.
Although we spent a lot of the time wishing the kids could be there to see it, we had a fantastic time none the less! There is a lot of wonder and enchantment to be found in the Magic Kingdom.
Our do-jang is planning a reunion trip there this summer, and we’re looking forward to sharing the park with the kids (assuming we can make the finances work out—things are gloomier than they were just last summer, a dismal thought).

I went 3 times as a teen, on High School band trips. All were very memorable. Have returned three times as an adult, to take children, mine, and others. That’s about enough of this place for me!!! But, it was great!

We stayed at the Beach Club Villas with lots of family. We had a great trip! Mac had a great time too! Can’t wait to go back one day.

I said that Disney World was worth visiting, but mostly because it’s part of the “American” experience.
Disney World was designed for families back in the 60s, not people with 3 children pushing around gigantic four-wheel-drive stollers. And it’s HOT in Orlando, but it’s painfully difficult to find anywhere in the park to cool off.
Universal Studios Islands of Adventure is a better experience.

I’m 20 years old and I’ve never been to Walt Disney World! It’s tragic. My LD boyfriend got me tickets for Christmas, but then we broke up in January… oops. Maybe spring break next year?

Was at Disney World in August of 2007 with my family. The kids and all of us had such a blast, we will carry those memories for the rest of our lives. Five days of such fun and excitement. Cannot begin to put it in words…..

I went with my dance team when I was a sophmore, and I had fun, but I think if I had been 6 rather than 16, I would have had alot more fun!!
