the night life is in white beach… but i am not really into that stuff.. I prefer Muelle!!! I will ba back… =) Love it here!!!

every minute is worth it!

Approximately three hours from crowded, sweltering Manila is an island getaway where the seafood is fresh, the sand is dazzling white, the water is a beautiful clear turquoise, and good vibes abound. It is a getaway for adventurers of the ‘strike anywhere’ variety, who think nothing of hopping on a bus on a whim, armed with nothing but a swimsuit and a pair of flip-flops. It is a refuge for the low-key urbanite escaping the frenzied crowd at Manila’s latest ‘in’ spots (the same crowd that currently overpopulates Boracay). It is my paradise on the cheap—Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.

I went to Puerto last May..soo much fun!! =)

Went with my choirmates. We even sang while we were all neck-deep in the sea (It was hard to sing that way, alright). But I’d love to come back and see the place again. See the attached pic? That’s how bronze I turned out… really cool!

If all goes well, I’ll be visiting Puerto Galera next year. I should have done it sooner but I never found the time to do so.

it was heaven.. the best R&R i’ve had ever! lots of other mini islands you can go to to relax.. lots of big and small resort that offer the best view of the ocean.. clear blue even blue-ish green-ish … ahh heaven!

love the beach, the food, the night life..

Lots of resorts to choose from, whether you decide to rough it or to find a more luxe beach experience.

But we were both too busy. We’ll definitely find time soon. First Galera, then the rest of the world!
