I really love Halige Beach it is so peaceful

I’ve been to White Beach countless of times already!!! The nightlife is the best here. People go here to have lots of fun. But it’s not as good as it used to be. Before when only a few people know about this place, the beach was so clean and so peaceful. But now, it got so crowded. But this is the place where you bring all of your friends and party at the beach and have lots of fun.

When I go to Puerto Galera, I go to Talipanan. I love Luka’s cooking. Yum! Yum!

There are a LOT of beaches here in the Philippines far more better than Puerto Galera. It’s nice to visit it once… twice.. or maybe it depends on who you’re with…

Went snorkeling aside from the usual swimming. I love the white sand (well some parts weren’t), the crystal clear water and the marine life of Puerto Galera.

Beware of tricycle drivers and boat operators. They will charge you triple on the fares and also be CAREFUL of those who will offer for tour packages like snorkeling etc.they will charge you a great deal money only to find out that snorkeling site they are offering is just meters away from the pier. Puerto galera isnt a good place for snorkeling..the corals are dead and there no sea creatures lurking in the sea beds. The place they call “White Beach” is not white as its title implies.It should be called “Brown Beach”instead.Much to my disappointment.Its not worth the trip.

I’ve been to “Puerto G” a good number of times. Enough times to have gotten sick of the place i think (especilly during peak season when you innevitably run into everyone who you were trying to get away from in the Metro). Still, it’s one of the nearest beaches to escape to and is still relatively reasonable. The snorkling is still great too. It just sucks of course that establishments (that are side-by-side) on White Beach blare their music all night long in competition. Making it hella noisy and impossible to figure out “what kind of music” is actually playing. And the drunk people piss into the beach. Man that sucks ass. Still… A very nice and dear beach to me. Hope it doesn’t get utterly ruined within the next ten years.

ahh..this is the life! swim a little…then get a massage or get your hair braided… a tattoo would be nice (heck, it would look good on my tan!)... it’s the perfect getaway even on a tight budget…
