Not my thing, but looks great for Sushi lovers. I order teriaki chicken and yakisoba and was disappointed; it was not up to my standards. But my friends enjoyed the sushi. so it must not all be bad

This is a great sushi place for vegetarians and vegans.
The tempura and miso soup are vegan. Not to mention my personal favorites (avocado maki, kappamaki, inari, seaweed salad, and tofu roll) are vegan and in the $1.50-$2.25 range.
I’m all about the Shinjuku and Ginza lines.

Absolutely great if you’re a party of one. You get a seat in no time, even when there’s tons of people waiting… you grab what you want, you pay, you leave… there may be better sushi and cheaper elsewhere, but you would not have it this fast. Perfect for a good after-work meal escape when you don’t feel like cooking at home. Also a healthier dining option.

The screen is cool and so is the decor…but there’s better sushi elsewhere, for less.

Eat as much or as little as you want, start eating nearly right away, the food will come to you. Good veg selection too and not just sushi but other treats as well. You may have to wait for certain things to come… or you can order whatever you don’t see.

The original is smaller than the one in University Village , but it does have a separate bar with a sushi happy hour. The actual dishes served are much the same, but not exactly.
Today, as she has told me before, my spouse said that I should become a sushi chef because they are all “hot”. The chef in front of us today was very amused by this remark. I dunno if that means I am currently not hot or would simply become hotter if I changed careers. Good thing she married me already.

This place has outstanding sushi. And for the price, you’re getting the total package. The cucumber martini is really refreshing and a step outside the normal.

At Blue C, dishes glide around on a big conveyor belt that encloses a square, open-air kitchen. A counter surrounds the conveyor belt in another layer, followed by a concentric square of patrons, who grab whatever catches their eye as it slides by. The cooks keep replacing the disappeared, and at the end of dinner, each party is charged according to their stack of color-coded plates. As a sushi newbie, I can’t really gauge how well this place compares to others in town in terms of quality, but I enjoyed the food as well as the accessibility of the see-food-and-eat-it process. I’m not naming names – I still couldn’t if I tried – but I ate many pretty and delicious types of sushi and sides last night. Thank you, Blue C.
