THE GREATEST STORE EVER. It’s really packed on the weekends, so watch out!

Just wanted to remind all of ya’ll (for the sake of posterity) of our Ikea’s opening week/month. It was IT. It was all people were talking about before it opened, it was the only place people were going the day it opened, it was the only place people were more than happy to wait in hour-long lines and inch out of the parking lot one by one.
And it’s still being sung on the lips of every ordinary citizen.
It was the number one cause of low church attendance that Sunday. Far worse than the Super Bowl. And for good reason! Atlanta Hearts Ikea!
Now just wait until Trader Joe’s finally opens ITP…

I realized what an idiot I am that I have trouble putting together simple tables and chairs.

This place sells everything you need and more. (Except TV’s) at a low price. And its fashionable! Even more to love about it! When you go you must try the meatballs!

Yes, the stuff is great-and cheap-but, buyer beware: if you’re buying anything you think you might need assistance with, i.e., any furniture, take a friend—the salespeople are COMPLETELY unhelpful. I’m not sure why they’re even there, except perhaps to create the illusion of customer service. PS. The cafeteria=awesome

I love IKEA. I am young(ish) and poor(ish), so having a place to buy inexpensive furniture that looks nice is fantastic!
Most of the furniture here is very clean lines and modern looking without being cold. The accessories are super inexpensive and decent quality.

You don’t just go to Ikea and pick up one thing. You’re there forever! Even if you’re not spending money, you’re just looking at the displays. But beware, the entire place smells like wood and once you pack your car with anything from Ikea, your car will smell like wood for a few days as well.
Ikea is a great outing.

There’s lots of neat stuff in here. Plus, it’s not expensive. I love the food in the cafeteria, especially, the swedish meatballs. Yum.
