Heavenly Ski Area

Fantastic views from most parts of the mountain. Crossing from California to Nevada and vice-versa can be a little annoying if you’re on a snowboard – there are definitely some uphill sections you’ll have to hike up. The area is huge though and it’ll take a few days before you run out of runs to do. Definitely will head back at some point.

seeing the drop on the bottom part of this mountain is incredible. Good luck getting down the black moguls…wicked tough on a snowboard.

Don’t ski here if you learned to “ski” in Illinois. Big difference.

But the view is worth it!

South Lake Tahoe is great. Lake, mountains, casinos, restaurants etc all within walking distance. Just take the bus from Reno airport and stay close to the CA/NV state line.

i went here with my friends, and it was totally awesome. beautiful scenery and lovely people. i loved skiing there, so nice.

I did not ski either, I need to go back so I can ride the trails (I am a snowboarder).

Went here in the summer, not the winter, but it sure was beautiful!

pretty view of the lake but the people that work there have the WORST customer service. they’d just as soon that you’re not there and they let u know. too crowded, also. just too touristy to me.

Crowds can be bad sometimes but the mountain is so big that the people spread out quickly, although it is a hassle getting back and forth from the Nevada side to the California side.
