Navy Pier

Not going to the navy pier but going to chicago is like going to a lake and not swiming!
My favorite thing i did in chicago!
Make sure you have a few hours to dedicate to it though!
I only got to see half but it was a really cool time!
You have to go!

Navy Pier used to be cool when you could fish on the pier, but now it’s generally just an overpriced trap for tourists and trashy teen dates. Most people I know don’t go unless they work there. The children’s museum is cool only if you have kids or are easily entertained. I have gone for the boat show which was fun, but besides that I can’t think of one reason to go back since most things you can find here are easier to access and cheaper in other parts of the city.

Hard to imagine a better place in the midwest to take a stroll with the family on a nice sunny day. Incredible place to take in the sights of Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago (which has a fantastic skyline). Plan your visit ahead of time as there are seasonal events/activities that you may wish to take in.

This is my favorite place to go! Make sure to get some roasted peanuts: they’re amazing.

Not very exciting, and the giant ferris wheel was a disappointment.

I was lucky enough to live here for 4 years and hands down is probably the best city in the US! I loved being able to get anywhere within the city by train/cab/walking and the Navy Pier was awesome. Can’t wait to return.

We go there every year! Its so much fun!

I thought this was a really charming place. Glad I went even though my mom was convinced I would get mugged. Whatev.

Nice family type environment without being too carnivalish. Nice shops. Has the Shakespeare theater and plenty of boat cruises to do. I enjoyed my time there.

It was November, but you bet your ass I rode the Ferris Wheel anyway.
