Muncie

I’ve lived her my whole life except for the seven years I lived in Tucson. It can be fun, if you know the right people and the right bars,,,,Scoobies is one, Cheer’s ( which is mine ) is another. Come see us, you’ll be surprised.

I lived here after leaving home for the first time. This is where I met my son’s mother and he was born @ Ball Memorial Hospital. This changed my life.

I kinda really like Muncie. There aren’t a lot of jobs, and it’s not like Gatlinburg or anything. But, it has cool people, a nice mall, and some of my best pals live here…It’s a nice little community.

I was at a concert. I took that photo up there, so that should be evidence it’s a nice place!

I’ve only been here a few times, when I was a prospective student and visited, and I had some friends there too. I went to IU in Bloomington, but I found the BSU campus to me a smaller version of the same thing, with its own charm and feel. It was also rumored to have some insane male to female ratio in favor of males, but maybe that’s not true anymore.

My favorite memory was going to Flying Tomato pizza, which had a similar restaurant in Bloomington called Garcia’s pizza. I absolutely loved that place, but I think it’s gone now…

I have family in Muncie, so this town has special meaning for me. My crazy aunt has taken me on garage sale adventures all over the area. It’s a nice area. Don’t miss Ivanhoe’s in nearby Upland.

Hell yeah one person wants to visit Muncie!!!

Spent five years of my life there at BSU (well, seven if you count the few years I spent working at BSU while living in Indy not so long ago) and I don’t think I’ll need to go back.

Sure it has qualities, but none are redeeming: The Heorot. Um … maybe it has a quality. But too bad it isn’t enough to help the poor little city be worth something.

It is worth visiting because I am here.

Muncie isn’t a bad town, but there’s not a whole lot to it other than the University.
