Blarney Castle

Quite good ^^

Blarney Castle is near the best place in Ireland to buy Irish sweaters and other Irish things. I got 6 sweaters, some waterford glasses and a clock, pottery, and tons of other wonderful Irish things at the Mill. There is also a Hotel near the castle and the mill. Just outside the parking of the hotel a river running along side of it. When I was there we walked hand in hand along the river after dark. The area lights were on and there was a fog lifting off the river. It was magicial. It was just like a fantasy.This is one of my favorite places in all the world. It says not worth seeing but I dont kmow how to change that nor how it appeared. It IS WORTH DOING !!! This movie is also great ! See it if you are going to Ireland Waking Ned Devine

i’ve kissed the blarney stone ;D

I kissed the famous old Stone trying not to think of all the others that had done the same (or worse! ew!), but for me, the highlight was the castle’s grounds. I spent a lovely afternoon wandering around, taking it all in.

A must-visit in my opinion.

Who doesn’t want to “KISS THE BLARNEY STONE” ??

I want to get to Ireland…and KISS that stone with so much passion that all my wishes will have to come true! hehe

Blarney was a pleasant surprise. I expected it to be far more touristy and was delighted to find that it is very low key. The castle in the middle of beautiful grounds & just a delightful place to explore. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my most recent trip to the old sod.

Don’t wear a skirt if you want to kiss the Blarney Stone!

The grounds around Blarney Castle are really fun to wander around in, the castle itself is very nice, and it is a fantastic place to take a nice long walk. Plus, when I was there, a golden retriever followed us around all day. Yay for dogs!

Wonderfull place, very nice and green- was quite nervous to get down on my back and lay down over a 100 foot drop. Just a tip, The original BLarney Stone was urinated on….....

I hung upside down and kissed the Blarney Stone! I’d do it again too.
